Workshops and Individual Sessions

Nodi has been meditating since the 70’s. After noticing the increasingly frenetic pace and pressures of life he began to offer introductory workshops for groups and individuals. Scientific research on the value of mindfulness, called and called. He experienced the simplicity and ease of the day-dream as the way to mindful presence. Humans do it naturally without realising. Being thus purposeful, there is receptivity, openness and flow. Learn to relax and refresh, replenish and reflect, and emerge renewed.

A Meditation

…but now, now you are letting go, vigilance is easing. You feel safe releasing your tight grip.  Ahhh, the light twinkles on dancing water. Streamlets are tinkling. Waterfall cascades. Entranced. Now, enter the pool, submerge, drink the freshness. Be still, enveloped in the silent golden light. Slowly emerge, stand tall and reach for the sky. Stretch all the tension out, awake in the ether, mindful. Inhale the aroma of nature singing. Nestle into your favourite rock. Sit, stare into the distant trees. The reeds down the river, swayed by foilage in a gentle breeze. Lost in your day dream, notice. Mindful. Awake. Leaves rustle. Tiny birds dart, chirp. You feel totally open, your emotions relaxed, not focused on any one thing, staring into Beauty as it pours back into you. You shift into the Meditation zone of the Day Dream - awake. In flow. You are one with the moment, staring into it, with it, a part of it, vulnerable in wholeness. Your inner spirit breathes it all in and breathes it all out. Wholehearted. Alive. Mindful.

I appreciate the ways in which Nodi interweaves into his workshops the esoteric with the scientific, the spiritual with the practical, providing a much needed and balanced perspective on what meditation and mindfulness are about.
